On Apr 9, at Alexandra Palace, in north London, Harrison, right afar 38, and promoted by Barry Hearn, will try to secure the European heavyweight title. He saved his career by winning Prizefighter Heavyweights 3 last October, and faces Polands Albert Sosnowski for the European belt.

A feat could lead to a shot at a universe pretension with possibly of the Klitschko brothers, or David Haye.

Harrison, twenty-six wins from thirty contests, admitted, in a 30-minute digression at the Dorchester Hotel, that he roughly walked away. "My personal mission is to be a universe champion. When my stipulate with the BBC finished [reportedly value �1 million for 10 fights] I lost my feel for fighting and the passion for fighting died.

"I was a all damaged man and it took a prolonged time to recover. It took a lot of soul-searching. But Im still here. If Albert Sosnowski beats Audley Harrison satisfactory and square, afterwards it will be all over."
