Rafael Benítez says Liverpools injury curse could end in cheers

The Liverpool physical education instructor has found his group hamstrung by injuries to key players for most of a unsatisfactory campaign, with Steven Gerrard, Fernando Torres, Daniel Agger, Yossi Benayoun, Alberto Aquilani and Glen Johnson all sidelined for prolonged spells.

Yet whilst the headache refuses to recede - both Martin Skrtel and Fabio Aurelio will be out for a month with feet and groin injuries respectively - Benítez believes the rest afforded to his players will assistance keep his side uninformed whilst their rivals feel the goods of a prolonged season.
